Mobile Orders lets fans browse and purchase merch directly from their phone during a show. Instead of waiting in line at the merch booth, they place an order and pick it up when it’s ready.

How it works

1
Fan places an order
2
From the artist’s Fanpass page or a direct link, the fan browses available merch, selects items and sizes, and checks out with their phone.
3
Order is received
4
The order appears in real-time on the POS app and in the dashboard. Staff are notified of new incoming orders.
5
Staff prepares the order
6
The merch team pulls the items, bags them up, and marks the order as ready for pickup.
7
Fan picks up
8
The fan comes to the designated pickup booth and collects their order. Staff confirm the pickup on the POS.

Enabling mobile orders

Mobile ordering is toggled at the tour level:
  1. Navigate to your tour settings
  2. Enable Mobile Ordering
  3. Configure the required settings (see below)

Configuration options

SettingDescription
Pickup boothWhich booth fans should go to for pickups
ShippingAllow fans to have orders shipped instead of picking up
Fanpass requiredRequire fans to have a Fanpass before placing a mobile order
Requiring a Fanpass for mobile orders is a great way to grow your fan database — fans sign up to order, and you capture their info automatically.

Available inventory

Mobile orders pull from the same inventory as POS sales. Only items marked as Available Online in the merch catalog will appear for mobile ordering.
Keep a close eye on inventory levels when running both POS and mobile orders simultaneously. Popular items can sell out quickly from both channels.

Benefits

  • Reduce booth lines — Fans can order during the show without missing a moment
  • Increase sales — Fans who wouldn’t wait in line now have a way to buy
  • Capture fan data — Every mobile order creates or links to a fan profile
  • Upsell opportunities — The digital store can showcase your full catalog, not just what’s on the table
